Sticky, strong, holding, binding together
It keeps connected, and joined for always
A never failing bond, no matter what
It stays firm forever without weakening,
Love that keeps us, and duct tape to hold us.

Racing on through,
Nothing's gonna stop you.
A southbound train,
Flying in the passing lane.
Blink once, blink again.
If it wasn't then...
When will it dare to end...
Certainly not around the bend?

I'm an hour late,
And must contemplate...
Could this be my fate?
Not this success rate.
Can't handle this weight,
Too much on my plate.
And though I'm no 'great'
Time to wipe the slate,
So my arrow flies straight.

Apparent to the mindful ear,
It is ever so clear...
That turtles shall one day rule all the land,
with slow mandate and a steady hand.

The mind whirls around,
Letting go of reality,
Embracing insanity,
Forgetting hospitality,
Reaching in vanity,
And loving a manatee.

Shake your lizard tail, you penny peasant.

It's a sprint and it's a marathon.
Always against the clock.
Everyday its endless hands move forward.
And everyday your reach shortens.
How long will it be before you can grasp no longer?
